On October 6th, 2026, President Saad Fayeq Mohammed Kolak met with the Head of the Competition and Anti-Monopoly Council and several pharmaceutical manufacturers to discuss key challenges in the pharmaceutical market.
During the meeting, the Council heard the manufacturers’ observations and proposals regarding production-related challenges and discussed obstacles concerning marketing and product distribution mechanisms.
The meeting underscored the importance of addressing these challenges to help regulate the market and foster a fair competitive environment—one that ensures equal opportunities for manufacturers and supports market stability in the public interest.
