To serve the various food and beverage industries in Iraq and surrounding markets, Kulk Group has extended its reach to the UAE. As part of this expansion, Mr. Saad Kulk, Business Development Manager of Kingston Group of Companies, met with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and toured the AT & JA Plant and ATA Refinery.

With a planned production capacity of 200 KT per year, the company will be able to supply multiple regions, including GCC countries, Iraq, Jordan, Africa, Europe, and North America.

Preliminary Plant Layout – Molten Steel Option

The diagram illustrates the preliminary layout for the molten steel production option of the facility. Key functional zones are color-coded for clarity:

  • Site Infrastructure & Utilities (Gray): Roads, utilities, and administrative support buildings.

  • Recycling & Raw Materials (Red): Scrap storage and raw material handling areas.

  • Melting & Casting (Yellow): Melting bay and continuous casting lines for billets.

  • Slab Storage & Processing (Green): Ingot staging and storage areas.

  • Hot Rolling (Cyan): Hot mill building for rolling billets into slabs.

  • Cold Rolling & Annealing (Blue): Cold mill and annealing lines for finished product preparation.

  • Finishing (Purple): Finishing bay, packaging, and preparation for delivery.

  • Finished Goods (Pink): Storage of final products ready for shipment.

  • Scrap Handling & Roll Shop (Beige): Roll shop support and scrap handling facilities.
