Established in 2019, the Tareeq Al Maymoun Power Plant in Baghdad, Iraq, delivers fast-track power that is scalable, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective. The plant employs the latest production technologies, ensuring high-quality output.
A dedicated unit and laboratory have been developed to enhance fuel quality, enabling complete control over production continuity at a stable pace and frequency. The facility currently generates 104 MW per hour and employs 60 personnel.
Tareeq Al Maymoun Power Plant supplies power to the Ministry of Oil and provides heavy fuel oil (HFO) solutions that offer higher efficiency and lower cost per kWh compared to diesel, making them ideal for oil and gas operations and grid-connected utilities.
The company plans to expand the plant’s capacity to 300 MW per hour by 2026, reflecting its commitment to meeting Iraq’s growing energy demand with reliable and efficient power solutions.
